We are currently seeking a full-time Municipal Project Engineer for our team in St Paul. This person will have an opportunity to work on a wide variety of municipal infrastructure projects including client liaison and project management duties. Our clients tend to be 90 miles or less away from our office so you can stay close to home every day of the week as well as have an impact on your local communities. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully working with municipal clients in the Twin Cities area with the ability to present technical solutions to clients yet understands the importance of exceptional listening skills to create and maintain client relationships.
Design of municipal infrastructure projects
Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
Client relations including council meetings with existing and new clients
Assist with mentoring junior staff
Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
6 or more years of experience including municipal engineering, client management, project management, and consulting required
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of municipal engineering experience
PE license required (MN and WI PE preferred)
Experience with funding and grants available to Minnesota municipalities preferred
Auto CAD experience and capabilities is preferred
