This position is for our Milsco business and is located in Milwaukee, WI. You’ll find Milsco seats on many of the world’s most recognized brands. We created the upholstered passenger seat for Harley-Davidson in 1934 and the first padded tractor seat for International Harvester in 1937. Seats designed and produced by Milsco are standard equipment for John Deere, Club Car, Toyota, Caterpillar, and many other household names.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to develop suppliers to identify root cause, drive corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement projects
Conduct on-site Supplier Audits to review manufacturing processes, quality systems, and assist in effectively closing observations
Develop supplier measurables; Taking lead in collection, review, analysis, trending of supplier quality indicators and create actions plans to improve monthly and quarterly reviews
Assuring supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes, product PPAP submission, and approval requirements
Reviewing and approving supplier PPAPs for new components and assemblies
Providing technical assistance during supplier launch, change-over, and ongoing production activities
Identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for solutions
Actively contribute to various manufacturing projects such as process development, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives
Bachelor's degree in related field
Five (5) or more years' experience in a Quality Engineering position; preferably within a supplier quality position
Prior supervision experience preferred
Must be able to travel 25% of the time, mostly domestic travel but occasional international travel is also required
Effective problem solving, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventative action skills to lead and influence others to drive improvement
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
