Business Line Managers are what we sell and how we make money. Our business line managers are project managers and engineers whose performance and growth impact our success. They contribute to overall team management with the other business line managers and office manager. A successful business line manager will maintain customer satisfaction while enhancing and promoting the Rybinski Engineering brand within the business line technical niche.
• Evaluate all business proactively to avoid unintended consequences such as running low on work • Maintain client satisfaction by meeting needs and exceeding expectations • Maintain a big-picture view to connect project, client, and company activities and goals • Ensure that the business line makes money as budgeted • Make sure that all operations and business line activities produce the desired results and are consistent with the company’s strategy and mission • Ensure the quality of products and presentations • Hold staff accountable to budgets and timelines • Facilitate staff growth along career paths to meet company goals • Build a high-quality team • Ensure steady, sustainable project health, setting up for repeat business • Develop new business, identifying projects in advance • Advance the strength of the business line technical niche
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required. • Master's degree preferred. • Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. • At least 5 years related experience is required. • Knowledge of ITE, NEMA, NCHRP, MUTCD, HCM, AASHTO standards and practices required. Familiarity with Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland design standards desired. • Must be proficient in Synchro, HCS, Microsoft Office. Experience with ArcGIS and/or Apple applications a plus. • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in project teams. A self-starter requiring minimal supervisory oversight. • Valid driver’s license.
