This position could be based at any of the following locations: Alexandria, Baxter, East Grand Forks, Forest Lake, Rochester, MN or Grand Forks ND.
As an Electrical Engineer at Widseth Smith Nolting, you’ll work on a broad range of engineering designs. You will work alongside an integrated team of engineering and architectural professionals on projects all over Minnesota. Your focus will be on:
Designing electrical solutions for a variety of facilities, from conceptual planning through final construction documents.
Evaluating existing power and control systems, electrical specifications, lighting and load calculations.
Coordinating verbal and written communications with a multi-discipline team. Interacting with contractors and clients throughout the various phases of the project.
Working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, as well as balancing multiple projects
To be considered for this position you’ll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Hold professional licensure in the state of Minnesota.
5+ years’ experience in building electrical engineering.
Familiar with lighting design, power design and electrical code.
