The Olin Business School is seeking to fill one or more full-time teaching faculty positions. Primary responsibilities are teaching courses that focus on business analytics in the school’s various programs, including specialized masters, undergraduate, and MBA. Courses currently experiencing the greatest need in the area of business analytics are (1) Big Data/ML/AI for Managers, (2) Big Data, (3) SQL, (4) Machine Learning, and (5) MBA Statistics. Other courses offered include, Deep Learning, Data Visualization, and Python. Candidates with experience developing new online courses are encouraged to apply. Teaching faculty typically teach 6 semester-length courses a year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a doctoral degree (preferred) in management information systems, business analytics, computer science, or other related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with proven, effective, teaching experience.
SALARY: Competitive and commensurate with experience, academic qualifications, and teaching load.
APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, teaching, faculty appointment starting with the 2021-22 academic year. There may be an opportunity to start in May 2021.
