Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity available for a civil engineer to join our aviation team. Responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of engineering plans and specifications for airport improvement projects; preparing design calculations and quantity estimates; assisting with the development of construction cost estimates for projects; attending client meetings; and serving as the onsite project engineer on construction projects. A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a background check for badging on airports, and some travel will be required.
This position is also available in Fargo or Bismarck, ND.
The successful candidate must have:
a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering or construction engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
at least four years of relevant work experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
airport engineering design projects
FAA design standards and specifications
AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D design software
construction administration/observation
