In this challenging role, you will be supporting the PRE - President department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Performs inferential statistical functions in the design, analysis and presentation of complex research and statistical studies. Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis plans.
Performs inferential statistical functions in the design, analysis and presentation of complex research and statistical studies. Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis plans.
Uses inferential statistical techniques, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, time-series analysis, longitudinal analysis, and sampling techniques in research and statistical studies.
Creates charts and graphs for institutional reports and day to day presentation of college data. Analyzes and interprets data to provide analytical interpretation to institutional constituencies.
Analyze data using mixed methods in alignment with the goals and scientific frameworks identified for the study to include multivariate statistical methods such as GLM, analysis of quasi-experimental research designs with non-equivalent groups, classification, dimension reduction, clustering, hierarchical linear modeling, etc.
Adapt methods to the research question at hand using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, weave together qualitative and quantitative insights for data-informed understanding.
Lead and deliver research share-outs to a cross-functional team to encourage empathy with and understanding of the individual experience for different segments, and identify clear opportunities GTC can address to improve the experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in a related field; or bachelor's degree with statistical courses plus two (2) year’s experience as a statistical research analyst
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Lean Six Sigma Green and/or Black Belt Industrial Engineering degree and/or experience Comprehensive understanding of scientific theory and methods, knowledge of lab, field, individual and group based qualitative methods, as well as quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts including survey design. Experience with wait and line queuing methodology and process improvements.
