Basic Function
Plans, directs, and manages diverse teams and major projects within Metro, including large capital projects or management of other types of large projects or programs. Leads the transit architecture discipline of the engineering department at Metro. Responsibilities include staff management, establishing design criteria for architecture discipline, reviewing architectural plans, coordination with planning for urban design, resolving complex architectural challenges, coordination of adjacent construction activities and interfacing with other disciplines and all Metro capital projects including supporting other departments requiring architectural expertise.
