Located in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) was founded in 1952 following the amalgamation of the best departments in related fields of five eminent universities as a result of a nationwide reorganization of the higher education system. With over half a century of remarkable growth, it has developed into one of the most influential key national universities sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Founded in 1981, the School of Economics and Management (SEM) offers a full-range of degree programs including undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. The school is also active in the field of international cooperation and communication. Cooperative relationships have been set up with top business schools in the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Germany, etc. International students come from over 50 countries with approximately 400 enrolled. Among 103 faculty members, more than 90% have a Ph.D. and 80% have overseas education and research experience. The School of Economics and Management is accredited by AMBA and AACSB.
SEM seeks to hire qualified, talented faculty members from home and abroad in a variety of full-time positions. All levels of candidates (Assistant/ Associate/ Full Professor) with research areas listed below are preferred.
Management Science and Engineering: Management Information Systems, Big Data Analysis, Operations Management, Logistics Supply Chain Management, Statistics, etc.
Business Administration: Technical Economics and Management, Organization Behavior, Human Resource Management, Business Strategy Management, Marketing, etc.
Economics: International Economics and trade, Industrial Organization, Political Economy, Finance, Macroeconomics, Mathematical and Quantitative Methods, Regional Economics, etc.
Other related disciplines in Management Science, Business Administration, and Economics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Earned a Ph.D. degree in the related fields before the starting date of the appointment contract.
Candidates at all levels should be able to communicate and teach in English.
Applicants for Assistant Professor positions should demonstrate strong capability to conduct high quality research.
Senior level candidates (Associate/Full Professor) should have proof track record for excellence both in research (i.e., publications in top-tier journals) and in providing academic leadership.
SEM will provide competitive salary (300,000- 800,000 RMB per year) and benefits package;

IntroductionLocated at the north gate of the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB)’s beautiful campus in the Haidian district of Beijing where many top universities reside, the Donlinks School of Economics and Management (DSEM) enjoys a rich cultural and academic atmosphere. In 2011, the DSEM celebrated its 30 years of birthday. The very early history of the DSEM goes back to 1950s as the “Metallurgy Economics and Enterprise Organization” established in Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel Technology. Department of Management Science was established in 1981, and then changed to the name of School of Management in 1993 and School of Economics and Management in 2006. It was renamed Donlinks School of Economics and Management in May 2011 following the generous donation from the Donlinks Holding Co. Ltd. In 2013, the DSEM passed the AMBA accreditation, and became one of the 200 AMBA certified business schools world-wide. Up to now, over 7000 students studied here and many of them have held major positions in industry and government. The DSEM offers a full-range of degree programs: the bachelor programs with six majors, academic master programs with 7 majors, professional m...aster programs with 5 majors and doctorate program with 4 majors. The DSEM has 134 faculty and staff members. By January 2019, we have 90 full-time faculty members including 24 professors and 45 associate professors. Among all faculty members, 90% of them have earned PhD degree, and 80% have overseas experiences. While dedicating to teaching tasks, our faculty members also positively participate in scientific researches. Their research has achieved remarkable outcomes with many awards at provisional or national levels.Comparing with the 90 faculty members, there are 44 administrative staffs working at the school to assist the faculty and the students for the school’s daily operation. The school is equipped with a school library with a large collection of domestic and international periodicals and professional books; an open computing and information center with advanced equipment; modern multifunction lecture halls; special classrooms and case study rooms; and a series of professional labs. All these resources provide students excellent learning environments and facilitate student’s learning experiences. The DSEM has been maintaining close cooperative relations in teaching and academic researches with top business schools of international universities including US, UK, Canada and Germany, etc. for a long time. The DSEM admits international students from over 50 countries with the total numbers of 364. For example, the Sino-US EMBA program with the University of Texas at Arlington started in 2002 has gained a great reputation among the students and the society we served.
