Under general direction of the Engineering Manager, the Engineering Technologist is responsible for a variety of technical engineering work for water and power project to assist the Engineering, Maintenance and Operations divisions.
The minimum and preferred requirements are listed below. 2-5 years of increasingly responsible sub-professional engineering experience with an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering Technology or a related field
5-10 years of increasingly responsible sub-professional engineering experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college or university in Engineering Technology or related field. Minimum five years of increasingly responsible sub-professional engineering experience. Proficient with AutoCAD.
License or Certificate: Possession of, and ability to maintain an appropriate valid California Driver License.
This position is subject to call out at any time and must reside close enough to travel to the Colgate Powerhouse within one hour.
