Perform engineering tasks and project coordination generally focusing on one or more of the following engineering disciplines: transportation engineering, water supply and distribution systems, water reclamation treatment and collection systems, and storm drainage systems.
Two positions are available – one position on the Water Reclamation Team, and one position on the Water Team.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or transportation engineering; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
The successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is desirable for the C42 level position.
A licensed professional engineer with the state of South Dakota is required for the C42C level position.
Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid driver’s license.
