Halff has an open position for a Transportation Engineer (Traffic Engineering & Advance Planning) in our Little Rock, AR location. This position is for an individual with 6+ years of experience in Traffic Engineering/ Advance Planning interested in working on transportation projects with State DOTs, local governments, and the private sector. The opportunity is to work as part of a multi-disciplined team to develop innovative solutions that improve lives and communities.
Will prepare traffic engineering studies such as feasibility studies, traffic impact studies, signal warrants, speed studies, access management plans, parking studies and corridor studies.
Will perform traffic operations analysis.
Will prepare designs for traffic signals, lighting, ITS, signing, and pavement marking.
Will conduct safety analyses and crash studies.
Will coordinate efforts with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects.
Will support growth of the Traffic/ITS Practice.
Will assist in training less experienced staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE license in Arkansas or ability to obtain within 6 months.
6+ years of progressive experience in Traffic Engineering and Advance Project Planning.
