The Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoc to join our multi-disciplinary team of scientists in the field of Molecular Biology and Molecular Genetics led by Professor Carlo Rivolta.
Your responsibilities
You will be performing independent research on the molecular components of hereditary blindness, by leading one of more original projects
Your profile
PhD in the field of Biology, Biotechnology or any related field or MD degree
Extensive knowledge of standard molecular biology techniques and cell culture is required. Previous experience in immunofluorescence microscopy is a plus
Must be capable of performing forefront research independently or with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
