Opportunities to collaborate with faculty in other departments such as cardiology, neurology, and oncology are plentiful, depending upon your specific areas of interest. In addition, there would be support for establishing a gene therapy and enzyme replacement center if this is a vision you have for the Division of Clinical Genetics. Experience caring for children with inborn errors of metabolism and storage diseases is preferred.
