Relay Technician I or Relay Technician II (Based on level of qualifications)
Relay Technician I GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:                                        This is an advanced level position that requires the knowledge, skills and experience required to be a Protective Relay Technician that can work on assigned projects without supervision.  Performs advanced level technical and electrical work through the application of a thorough knowledge of electrical theory, protective relay theory, and a comprehensive understanding of power system equipment and operations. TYPICAL TASKS: Performs advanced level programming, calibration, testing and repair of protective relays, switchboard and panel meters and related electronic and electro mechanical equipment
