Job Summary The Engineer will prepare design and contract documents, as well as develop specifications and generate cost estimates associated with civil work and track design including light rail, rapid transit, drainage design, utility relocation, pavement design, and other engineering related functions.  Duties & Responsibilities • Provide construction phase services on awarded contracts• Assist in the development and updating of track standards and civil site work standards for MBTA Transit system projects• Provide guidance to MBTA consultants, Project Managers and Track Supervisors with respect to design, construction and maintenance projects related to rail transit systems• Prepare contract documents for both internal and external construc
