Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Professional Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in geotechnical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on project management and construction oversight. As a Civil / Geotechnical Professional Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, and providing recommendations for foundation design and construction methods. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the success of various civil engineering projects.
Duties
Interpret pile job requirement for the project.
Inspect pile driving activities.
Able to determine from blow counts pile cut-off/ refusal.
Field Inspection & supervision of geotechnical investigation.
Familiar with Soil Classification Systems
Perform or witness pile load test and performance testing
Perform analysis for foundations, embankments, retaining walls, tunnels and underground structures under the supervision of the Technical Director.
Inspect pile production activities such as reinforcement installation and concrete placement.
Must be able to read and interpret Geotechnical, Sub-surface investigation reports.
Knowledge of Technical Report writing is an advantage.
Qualifications
Registered / Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
ACI, ICC, NICET and AWS Certifications is an advantage.
Experience in Support of Excavation (SOE) and subsurface soil investigations, soil stabilization, slope & risk assessments.
OSHA 30 certified.
Knowledge in interpreting Geotechnical and Sub-surface investigation reports.
Familiar with pile driving methods and equipment.
Preferably with 5 years minimum experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have their own vehicle.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
