As the foremost representative of Keck & Wood to a client, Project Managers are on the leading edge of management, relationship building and mentoring to achieve consistent project successes. Project assignments include design of private and public site developments, parks & recreation and storm water projects. The right candidate will have the skills and experience to address the following tasks:
Project Management:
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and staff to manage project scope, schedule, budget and expectations
- Prepare monthly invoicing, internal & external progress reports, etc.
- Collaborate to build and maintain work backlog to achieve staff utilization goals
Relationship Development:
- Craft proposals which define scope, schedule, hours & fees; coordinate with sub-consultants & negotiate fees with clients
- Network with clients, consultants, and teaming alliances – attend conferences, actively participate in professional organizations
- Build & maintain client relationships through visits, touchpoints, and knowledge sharing
Mentoring:
- Participate in setting growth goals, education and training objectives for team members
- Participate in the professional development of junior level staff through mentoring, coaching, and training
- Be current on, and provide team training on design trends, regulations, codes, etc.

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- BS degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited college or university or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Georgia and/or South Carolina PE Licensure is a plus
- 4+ yrs experience as Project Manager in an A/E/C role
- 6+ Yrs experience in one, or all of the following: commercial | industrial site development, parks & recreation, storm water
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
- Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to thrive on a collaborative team
- Ability to embody our brand by treating clients and employees with courtesy and respect
Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional travel to project sites for construction review and contract administration. Fieldwork involves exposure to weather, traffic, and loud noise and requires extensive walking over uneven surfaces and various terrains.
