Transportation Engineer
The City of Nanaimo is seeking an ambitious, progressive, and outside-the-box thinking Transportation Engineer who is eager to break new ground in Multimodal Urban Mobility. Reporting to the Manager of Transportation, this position will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from; advancing Transit priorities; to enhancing the City’s Intelligent Transportation System; to supporting the daily needs of other departments such as Land Development, Construction, and Public Works. This is a permanent full-time exempt position offering 35 hours of work per week, with the salary range of $108,538.46 to $115,466.45 as well as a competitive benefits package. The incumbent will be eligible for a Flexible Work Day and Earned Day Off through our Alternative Work Schedules program
